Fish Chowder

 
Ingredients -
4 Tablespoons Butter
1 White Onion, chopped
3 Medium Potatoes, peeled and cubed
4 Cups Water
2 Cans Creamed Corn, (15 ounce) 
5 Cups Whole Milk
2 Pounds Cod Fillets, cubed
Salt, to taste
Fresh Ground Black Pepper, to taste
 
Preparation:

1. Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat.

2. Add the onion and sauté for 5 to 10 minutes, or until tender.

3. Add the potatoes and water and simmer for 20 more minutes, or until potatoes are tender.

4. Add the creamed corn and milk, stirring until smooth.

5. Finally, add the fish, stir well and allow to heat through, about 10 to 15 minutes.

6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Wrap fresh fish in wax paper and store the fish in the coldest part of your refrigerator until ready to use. First wrap the fish in moistened paper towels if your refrigerator tends to dry out food.
