Creole Tartar Sauce

Creole mustard and cayenne pepper highlight this homemade tartar sauce. Egg, lemon juice, garlic, green onion blended with olive oil, cayenne, mustard and salt.
Ingredients -

1 Egg
1 tablespoon Minced Garlic
2 teaspoon Fresh Lemon Juice
1 tablespoon chopped Fresh Parsley
2 tablespoons chopped Green Onions
1 cup Olive Oil
1/4 teaspoon Cayenne Powder
1 tablespoon Creole Mustard
1 teaspoon Coarse Salt

 
Preparation:

1. Add egg, minced garlic, fresh lemon juice, and green onions to food processor. Pulse 15 seconds.

2. With the processor running pour olive oil through feed tube in steady stream.

3. Add cayenne powder, creole mustard and salt. Pulse twice to blend.

4. Remove mustard to small serving bowl.

5. Cover and refrigerate 1 hour.

Up the amount of cayenne powder to add additional heat to this tartar sauce.
